The course will be 50% in the classroom and 50% in a pub to put our practical English into a social context.

This course will increase your conversation skills. You will be encouraged and enabled to speak English for everyday use in a friendly and informal atmosphere. In addition to central topics, such as news, food and drinks, politics, travel, sport and leisure, the classes will be open to what you as students also wish to talk about.

The course does not focus directly on the grammar of the English language, but more on communication skills, improving vocabulary, and increasing your confidence as a speaker of English.

Wenn Sie bereits fortgeschrittene Kenntnisse in Englisch haben und diese in einer entspannten Atmosphäre ausbauen wollen, dann ist dieser Kurs genau richtig für Sie.

Im Rahmen des Kurses wird das Alltagsenglisch aufgefrischt und ausgebaut, so dass Sie sich auch über komplexe Zusammenhänge in einem professionellem Umfeld austauschen können. Es werden verschiedene Themen behandelt, um Ihnen die Kommunikation im Beruf sowie auf Reisen zu ermöglichen. Zudem lernen Sie, sich zu wichtigen aktuellen Themen zu äußern, und Smalltalk-Situationen zu meistern. Des Weiteren wird der Kurs den Interessen der Teilnehmenden angepasst, so dass er Raum für viele interessante und spannende Diskussionen und Gespräche bietet.

Wortschatz und Grammatik werden anhand von spannenden aktuellen Themen und Materialien vermittelt, sodass es alles andere als „trocken“ wird!

Voraussetzung: Sie haben bereits das Niveau B1 absolviert und streben das Niveau B2 an.

In this course you will be encouraged to speak and discuss different topics of daily life, social issues or other topics of interest to improve your vocabulary and conversation skills. Perhaps you get along in most situations, but you wish to become more confident and efficient in using the language. New participants are always welcome!

You just finished an English B2 level and would like to excel? The main idea of this course is to take you to the C1 level, which is an advanced level. Here you will be able to reinforce what you have learnt so far. Therefore, you will become an expert by gaining strategies to enhance your language skills. Would you like to know how the cookie crumbles in English?

Requirements:
You completed a B2 level, for this reason, we kindly ask you to demonstrate your level of acquisition by showing us a certificate from prior courses or by taking an online placement test on our website.
